MARINE OIL

EGI Marine oil 3015 and 4015 oils are respectively SAE 30 and SAE 40 high quality, general purpose, moderately alkaline lubricants designed for trunk type marine and industrial diesel engines. They are formulated from high-quality base oils and selected additives that impart excellent detergency / dispersancy, improved lube oil consumption, extended oil life, good thermal and oxidation stability, wear protection and excellent water separability properties to the final product.

PERFORMANCE LEVELS:

EGI Marine oils 3015 and 4015 oils are recommended for the effective control and reduction of inlet and exhaust valve deposits, piston crown deposits, and cylinder wear. They find application in the lubrication of crankcase cylinders of modern trunk piston diesel engines, especially those operating on fuel containing less than 2% sulphur.
EGI Marine oils 3015 and 4015 oils are also recommended for the separate bearing lubrication and piston cooling of large crosshead engines operating under all types of service conditions. Other applications include smaller high-speed diesel engines of fishing fleet vessels with engines ranging from 200 kW to 1500 kW, including “vee” and in-line types.

Prolonged and repeated contact with oil may cause skin disorders. Avoid contact. Wash immediately with soap and water. Do not discharge used oil into drains or the environment.
